The Sky View Castle Playhouse is unlike anything we’ve built before and we can’t get enough of it! The castle has an upper and lower play area, two slides, a curving staircase, a plinko board, and a ball pit. It was built to fit into a relatively small space.

To reach the loft level, kids climb a curving staircase that we tucked beneath a tower. Once they reach the top they can peer out over the edge, wave through the windows, or slide down either of the slides. We placed the first slide at the back of the playhouse, pressed up against the back wall. Though we built this slide to fit against a corner, the playhouse can easily fit against the flat wall. If kids ride down the second slide they will come out from beneath a turret at the front of the playhouse, and straight into a ball pit! (Balls not included) The Imagine version of this playhouse removes the back slide, as well as the ball pit. This makes it ideal for smaller spaces.

For kids who like crawling more than climbing, we created a small crawl space below the lower level. Kids enter this crawlspace through a grand, peaked entryway just below the Orlando window. This crawl space extends back and to the left, where kids can peer out from a small window.

Between the crawlspace and the stairs is one of our classic octagonal towers. This has one window and a shelf for storage space inside.

On the outside of this Sky View Castle Playhouse we installed a very special additional feature: A plinko board! This fun accessory lets kids drop a ball into a funnel at the top, then watch as it falls, plink, plink, plink, down to the bottom. A plinko board is a great way for parents to dole out chores, or rewards.

We love the look of this unique castle, with its mix of crenelation and peaked towers. We gave the castle shown here a base-painted design with three colors. One for the walls, one for the roofs, and one for the trim. You can ask for a similar base painted design, an un-painted design which you paint yourself, or a custom hand painted design.

We created the Sky View Castle Playhouse for a custom space with a cornered wall. However, if your room doesn’t have this sort of setup, don’t worry. We can easily modify any and all of our designs to fit your space. Simply give us a call for more details.
