Greg built this beautiful castle for his granddaughter. We’ve included comments from his email.
“Michael, More than a year ago I spoke with someone at Tanglewood about the castle bed plans I purchased and weight limitations on the upper bunk. Whomever I spoke with suggested I send in pictures once the bed was done. They are attached. Note the absence of a slide or steps or the upper unit on the bookcase – space restrictions in the bedroom! The last pict is of my granddaughter standing in the upper bunk while the bed was still in construction in my garage. She stood still for a long time and I wondered what she was thinking. Just after this picture she ran to me, threw arms around my neck, and said, “Bapa, I just love my castle bed.” Words worth ever minute of construction. She spends countless hours playing there. The stencil of the crown and, “The Princess Will See You Now.” is an addition by my daughter who works at a Michael’s Gifts and Crafts store.”
